The team

We have a dedicated, committed and stable staff team, many of whom have worked here for a considerable number of years. The staff know the people who live here extremely well and are always supportive and encouraging and respect each person’s wishes and needs. Staff have built up an excellent rapport with medical services and professional bodies over the years and liaise with them on a regular basis to ensure everyone is getting the very best care.

We are situated close to Newton Aycliffe town centre which has shops, cafes, a leisure centre, a library and GP surgeries. Also within walking distance is the Pioneering Care Centre which has excellent facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, chiropody, social evenings, a café and much more. We are a short drive from Darlington, Durham and Bishop Auckland. There are good bus routes and there is also a local train station.
