Residential care home for young adults
At Weaver House, we offer long-term residential support to young adults with autism and learning disabilities. We encourage independence and offer support to those who are transitioning into adulthood and wish to develop their independent living skills.
Supporting you
Weaver House is in Bulkington, Warwickshire, and is close to many amenities including a local college, which offers access to further education and voluntary employment opportunities. We encourage the people we support to participate in the hobbies and activities that they enjoy. We offer support in accessing nearby day centres and events in the local area. There are many opportunities for the people we support to get out and about, have fun and make new friends!
We believe that everyone we work with should pursue the things that fulfil and inspire them the most. Whether this is educational, vocational, or volunteering pursuits, our team is on hand to fully support our residents in achieving these goals.
Facilities
This spacious home features four double bedrooms on the second floor of the property. Two bedrooms have en-suite facilities and there is a communal bathroom on the same floor. There is one bedroom located on the ground floor with access to a separate bathroom. To the rear of the property there is also a self-contained flat. This can be accessed from the outside and by the main house and is the ideal place for someone looking to enhance their independence. The flat features a kitchen, lounge and dining arear, as well as bedroom with en-suite facilities.
The team
All staff receive expert training tailored to the needs of the people we support. Staff are regularly asked their opinions on training and can request any additional training they feel will be beneficial to their role. Our dedicated teams deliver tailored support, which has helped us to achieve our Good and Outstanding ratings with the CQC.
