Nestled in a peaceful area of Edinburgh, Tweed Lodge is a residential care home providing specialist care and support for up to six adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and complex needs.
Supporting you
We offer more than somewhere to live; this is somewhere for you to make your home.
We work with you to find out your goals and how you prefer to communicate. You’ll be included in all decisions about your care and support, either directly or through your family or advocate. This could include choices about menus, activities, or holiday destinations.
You’ll also be involved in our team recruitment processes, to help us find the right people to work with you.
Our supportive team will offer you opportunities to learn new skills, become more independent and try new experiences.
Facilities
Our home provides comfort and a place for the people we support to relax in. With bedrooms for up to six people, each provides a haven of privacy, and we encourage you to decorate your bedroom to your individual taste!
Built with accessibility in mind, our home features a lift, height adjustable beds and tracking hoists.
Our spacious communal areas are designed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for socialising with other housemates. These include a lounge and dining area. Plus, we have patio doors which open onto our outdoor seating space and garden!
