The Cedars is a residential care home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, where we support up to seven individuals. We have been accredited by the National Autistic Society (NAS) and have vast experience in supporting residents who have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum condition or autistic traits, challenging behaviours and learning disabilities.
Facilities
The house is located in a quiet residential area with a gated entrance and plenty of parking. The Cedars also boasts a spacious lounge, activity room, dining room and kitchen. There is a beautiful conservatory, which looks out over the large garden. Our garden is fully accessible, with a greenhouse to grow our own veggies and our custom-built sensory shed.
All rooms are single occupancy and five bedrooms have en-suite facilities, with the remaining two having easy access to a shared bathroom. We also have one fully self-contained flat adjacent to the communal home with its own front-door access – perfect for someone looking for more independence.
The home also offers:

The team
Our specialist team have qualifications in Health and Social Care and access to additional autism specialist training as needed, led by an experienced and Autism Qualified Manager.
A place to call home
The Cedars would suit somebody who enjoys being part of a busy and happy home where there is always something going on. Our current residents are aged between 18-60 and enjoy going out on group activities, holidays, shopping trips and leisure activities.
