Hepdene House is a residential care home in West Yorkshire, providing care and support for up to eight individuals with autism, learning and physical disabilities.

Supporting you

At Hepdene House, we encourage the people we support to experience a wide range of activities, tailored to their own interests and wishes. We make full use of the leisure and education facilities available in the local area, using person-centred activity planners for each individual.

Our high staffing levels enable the people we support to become actively involved in the day to day running of the home.

Facilities

Our spacious home consists of eight accessible en-suite bedrooms, all carefully designed for people who may have mobility needs. In each bedroom, you can find ceiling tracking to make personal care safer and more comfortable. All of our bathrooms are equipped with specialist baths and include an assisted shower.

Giving the people we support space to socialise or enjoy time alone, we have a number of communal rooms including a lounge, a quiet room and a dining room.

Apartment style accommodation is also available. This is designed to the same high specification as the other rooms, but with a further emphasis on the acquisition of new skills, possibly with a view to moving to more independent living in the future.

Our home is set in half an acre of gardens with sensory areas and raised flower beds – perfect for spending time with nature.

Hepdene House is situated in Sandbed, Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. This market town is eight miles west of Halifax, and boasts a lovely countryside environment with lots of shops and amenities, such as restaurants, cafes and parks to name a few!
