Cote House provides nursing care and support for people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
Supporting you
We offer long-term, short-term, convalescent, palliative and end of life care. We can also provide day care places. We support people with the utmost dignity and respect, and we are committed to supporting people sensitively to maintain choice and independence.
Everyone is encouraged to choose what they would like to eat; meals are home cooked from fresh ingredients, some of which are home-grown, and menus are designed to meet individuals’ needs. Cote House has a holistic approach to caring for people who have degenerative and life limiting or threatening conditions.
The team
We pride ourselves on the quality and dedication of the staff team. There is a qualified general nurse on duty at all times, who is able and equipped to provide clinical support, and a team of support workers, who together ensure each person’s social, emotional and medical needs are monitored and met.
We have close links to other healthcare professionals and the local doctor visits once a week.
Facilities
Cote House has 11 single bedrooms, located on the ground and first floors. Bedrooms on the first floor can be accessed by the passenger lift. Specialist baths and a wet room are also provided. There is a large elegant lounge area, a conservatory and a spacious dining room.
Bedrooms are personalised to suit individuals’ wishes and tastes. The large garden is wheelchair accessible and has raised flower beds and a vegetable plot, where individuals are encouraged to tend produce that they are particularly interested in growing or like to eat.
