Supporting you!
Churchfield Avenue provides great quality care and support for up to eight people with learning and physical disabilities, autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, epilepsy and mental health needs. The people we support here enjoy active participation in the local community!
At Churchfield Avenue, we believe that every individual deserves dignity and respect; this is at the heart of the care we provide. We promote independence and offer opportunities for people to grow, learn new skills and lead fulfilling lives!
Facilities
Our newly refurbished home has widened corridors and a lift, providing wheelchair friendly accessibility for those that need it.
We have spacious communal areas such as a dining room and kitchen, great for enjoying tasty meals together! We also have two bathrooms in our home, one of which has been adapted for accessibility purposes with rails and ceiling tracking.
Our large garden is great for soaking up the sun and taking part in social gardening activities. Everyone living at Churchfield Avenue is encouraged to actively look after their home, by getting involved in daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
The team
Our team consists of dedicated individuals that are well-trained and experienced in meeting the needs of the people we support. We ensure that ongoing training is provided so our colleagues can support individuals to achieve their aspirations and enjoy a high quality of life.
Tailored support is built around the needs of each individual and promotes their independence. We have a support team on duty 24 hours a day, along with a key worker system which helps the people we support to build trusting relationships with our team. We offer both 1:1 support and shared care, depending on the individual’s needs.
