Residential care home 
Branwell Manor provides support to eight people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, who may exhibit challenging behaviours. The people living at the home are predominantly making exciting transition from child to adult services or leaving home for the first time.

Our vision is to continually improve the quality of life for our residents, adopting a flexible, person-centred approach. We realise this by undertaking a range of assessments and observations to create a suitable environment based on individual needs.
We work in partnership with internal and external networks of support and develop our staff team and systems to create tailored individual support packages
We recognise individuality – no two people are identical so support is unique to a person, as much as a person is unique in themselves.
Everyone is also encouraged and supported to choose, plan and book holidays, either in this country or abroad. We encourage our residents to take part in companywide activities organised by Voyage Care as these offer opportunities to socialise with others and make use of their facilities.
Facilities
Branwell Manor has eight spacious bedrooms all with ensuite facilities, which can be adapted to meet individuals’ needs and the option of ceiling tracking if required. We encourage people to make decisions about the décor of their rooms and to bring their own belongings.
The communal areas are finished to a high standard, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The service also has a specially adapted training kitchen where individuals are supported in preparing meals and snacks, building daily living skills.

Our staff work on the basis that everyone has the freedom to achieve what they choose, so we support each person’s abilities, to promote well-being and self-worth.
We recognise individual ambitions and use our energy to work towards them whilst striving for progress, both in our home and in the support we offer to the people who live at the service.
