Bramley Avenue is a residential care home in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire. Here, we support up to five individuals with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
Supporting you
At Bramley Avenue, we support each individual to enjoy activities of their choice such as, participating in sports, going to the cinema, bowling and meeting up with friends. We also provide full support with managing personal care and household tasks at the home.
We also have an on-site minibus that’s available to take the people we support on trips to nearby towns, such as Royston or Cambridge city centre.
In our home, we encourage all of the people we support to get involved in activities both in-house and out in the community. We regularly go swimming, go on trips to the museum, go to the beach, visit the local garden centre, and go to cafes! We also do lots of baking, crafts, and flower arranging in our home.
Facilities
Our home is a lovely, detached bungalow in a serene village. With a large garden outside, we love to spend time outdoors, growing our own vegetables in our vegetable patch.
Suited to those with mobility needs, Bramley Avenue is wheelchair accessible, with overhead tracking hoists and a fully adapted communal bathroom. We also have communal areas in our home, such as our spacious living areas.
