Apple Blossom House is a residential care home, offering support for up to six adults with autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, Huntington’s Disease and learning and physical disabilities.

Facilities

Our spacious detached home features six bedrooms, each equipped with en-suite bathrooms. One of the rooms are located on the first floor, and the rest are based on the ground floor.

We have lots of shared communal areas, including a large lounge, kitchen, dining room and conservatory – perfect for taking part in activities with other housemates.

Our living environment is comfortable and easily accessible with ceiling tracking, hoists, height adjustable beds, and counter tops for those that require them.

Step outside and you’ll be greeted by a delightful garden, which is perfect for soaking up the sun in the summer months!

The team

Our friendly team receive specialist training tailored to meet the specific needs of the people we support. We work closely with the people we support to create person-centred care plans that meet their needs, preferences, and interests, empowering individuals to become more confident, independent and live fulfilling lives.

Apple Blossom House is in Tilehurst, Reading, and is close to many local amenities including a bowling alley, shops, a cinema and education facilities, which offers access to further educational opportunities. Apple Blossom House is easily accessible to the community, offering great transport links so the people we support can get out and about with their support team.

We encourage the people we support to have an active role in the community. There are lots of great activities for them to get involved in, including arts and crafts, cooking, playing board games, listening to music, dancing, drama and visits to local attractions.
