703 Burton Road is a male-only residential care home located in Midway, Swadlincote. We support up to five men with autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, and challenging behaviour.

Supporting you

Our team is passionate about providing a person-centred approach to each individual, as well as high quality care and support. We are committed to supporting individuals in a way that works them, to ensure they are living a fulfilled life.

We complete mandatory training including basic life support, safeguarding and positive behavioural support to keep us in line with industry best practice.

Facilities

Offering spacious accommodation, our home features five bedrooms, which we encourage the people we support to decorate to their own personal style and taste.

We also benefit from plenty of communal areas, including a lounge, dining room, kitchen, and conservatory. Outdoors, we have a large garden and patio area – perfect for activities and socialising with housemates.

We’re conveniently located, with excellent public transport links around the local area, including Burton town centre, Swadlincote and Derby.

We also have many local amenities and leisure facilities nearby, such as a cinema, shopping centre, cafes and restaurants, as well as scenic parks!

Our team actively encourages the people we support to engage with their local community, including volunteering in charity shops, and attending the local church!

As a household, we enjoy venturing further afield for fun group day trips. Our favourite places to visit include the Sea Life Centre, the Space Centre, and the Blackpool Air Show!

I find that being efficient and effective with good organisation skills really helps the team to flourish and compliments my natural leadership skills of motivation, coordination, skill mixing and supporting the team.
