At Hall Green Road we provide support to autistic people and people with brain injuries.

Supporting you

We believe that challenging behaviour is a form of communication and we take a holistic approach to dealing with them. To support this we use MAPA and other wide ranges of communication tools, aids and systems.

Each individual’s person-centred plan details their communication needs and preferences, and our staff are supported by a behavioural therapist, who works closely with them to equip them with the skills and knowledge they require.

Facilities

Our home has been sensitively renovated to create a warm and welcoming environment which is responsive to the needs of our residents who has a low stimulus décor. We have eight bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities with either a bath or a shower, depending on individual preference.

We encourage the people we support to bring their own belongings and choose how their room is decorated.

The communal areas include a large lounge with French windows leading to the garden, an activity room, a dining room and a large kitchen, where residents are supported to prepare meals and snacks. We also have a fully equipped sensory room.

Our home is located in the popular residential area of Stone Cross which is a five minutes’ drive from West Bromwich town centre. It is easily reached using public transport, such as buses and trains from Tame Bridge station.

We are located within walking distance to the local shops and amenities as well as close to a wide range of community leisure facilities, including Sandwell Nature Reserve, cinemas, bowling centres, sports facilities and Tame Valley Canal which hosts many events.
