Abbotts Road is a four bedroom residential care home in the West Midlands.
Here we support four residents aged between 30 and 50 living with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs.
The people we support at Abbotts Road love being active, while also having a balanced approach to daily structure and routines to best support their autism. They frequently access local day opportunities and take part in other social activities in line with our co-created support plans – empowering them to get the most out of every day.
Facilities
Our home has four upstairs bedrooms, an upstairs bathroom and toilet, a downstairs toilet and laundry area. We have a spacious lounge, a bright conservatory, and a large kitchen and dining area all perfect for socialising.
Outside, our home has a well-maintained garden and good off road parking facilities for visitors.
Getting out and about
Our residents enjoy trips to Star City, a local family entertainment complex including a cinema and bowling!
We have great access to local amenities on Erdington high street, and also visit Fort Shopping centre nearby.
The people we support love getting out as much as possible, regularly enjoying a bite to eat at a local café of restaurant.
Keeping engaged at home, we provide in-house activities that are designed to develop skillsets and encourage independence where possible.
