Headed to the finish line for Headway
Over the last year, we’ve been raising money for our charity of the year, Headway. We have been so proud of everybody who has helped us reach our incredible total of £15,913.36!
To celebrate our achievements and recognise the hard work gone into fundraising across the whole of Voyage Care, we held a party at one of our brain injury rehabilitation services in Nuneaton.
Marner House have recently received their overall Excellent accreditation from Headway so we thought it was the perfect place to host the party.
Everyone was treated to pizza and nibbles and the living room was decorated for the party. Jayne, our Chief Operations Officer gave a speech to thank everyone for their hard work in fundraising and congratulated Marner House on their achievement.
Anna Kerr is the Corporate Partnership Officer at Headway. She came along to Marner House to celebrate with us and receive the cheque from us all at Voyage Care.
“We are thrilled to receive this generous donation from Voyage Care to support our UK-wide services.
It has been a fitting partnership as Voyage Care has such a great understanding of brain injury and the needs of those whose lives are affected. The accreditation of Marner House, which is just one of eighteen Voyage Care services now accredited as a Headway Approved Provider, was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the partnership and excellent work at Marner House.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who has raised money for Headway over the past year and for your commitment to help us improve life after brain injury.”
