Once you're ready to start your journey, our knowledgeable Enquiry Team are on hand to guide you through the process as quickly and smoothly as possible.

But what does that look like?

Initial Enquiry

At this stage, our team will obtain basic details around you, your loved one or your client to get a better understanding around how we can best support you. This is vital in ensuring we can meet your needs and suitable support is offered.

We will ask you to provide the following information:

  • Contact details
  • Age
  • Gender
  • The nature of your needs with a pen-profile if available
  • Type of support required
  • Locations willing to consider
  • Number of hours of support required known*
  • How soon support is required
  • What funding is in place
  • Details of healthcare professionals involved such as social workers

Local team

Once we have had the initial discussion and gained the information we need, we will pass the details to your local operational team for consideration, identifying how and where we can best support you.

Viewing and assessment

If our teams feel that we can confidently support, a viewing and assessment will take place at a time convenient for you.

It is also a good opportunity for you to see if we are the right provider for you, and wherever possible you will have choice and involvement at this stage.

Funding agreement

Once the assessment and viewing stage is complete, if we believe that we can support you and providing you are happy for us to proceed, funding will then be agreed.

Support starts

After funding has been agreed, a start date will be confirmed and you will begin the start of what we hope will be an exciting journey with Voyage Care!

* If community support or care within your own home is needed, we require a minimum of 3 hour blocks at a time.
