Voyage Care acquires sixteen services from The Disabilities Trust
We are delighted to announce that Voyage Care have recently completed the acquisition of sixteen services from The Disabilities Trust. We welcome our new colleagues and the people supported to the Voyage Care family! The services are a blend of registered care homes and supported living properties; together they have capacity to support over 65 people across the North, Reading and the South East.
The Disabilities Trust have made the decision to focus on their brain injury provision, and the services transferring to Voyage Care support people with a range of learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs. The excellent quality of the provision across these services aligns with Voyage Care’s purpose to deliver great quality care and support and our shared values made this an ideal opportunity to create additional capacity in strategic growth areas. We have worked very closely in partnership with the Trust to ensure a smooth transition for the people we support and our new colleagues.
Jayne Davey, Chief Operating Officer, said: “We’re delighted to welcome such a broad range of fantastic services to Voyage Care; we look forward to empowering our new colleagues to continue to deliver great care and support, in line with our values and purpose.”
