DCA Norfolk branch have achieved an overall Outstanding rating from the CQC in their latest inspection! This great news has come a few months after the team won Branch of the Year at the Voyage Excellence Awards 2019.

We asked Georgina Cooper, Service Manager how it felt when the team found out they’d achieved Outstanding, she explained that it was an emotional time “I’m just overwhelmed with emotions. It was great to see the team had been recognised”.

Georgina went on to describe how they work collaboratively and focus on being a community, not just a team; “Through the hard work and dedication of the whole team: Norfolk work together and are always willing to help out, pulling together and being a community as well as a team. We listen to the people we support and ensure they are the most important part of all of our roles.”

Operations Manager for the region, Urvi Patel, was ecstatic about the news. She explained that DCA Norfolk are shining again, “I am so proud of my team for all their hard work and commitment. Embracing whatever I throw at them, delivering outstanding care and support and forever coming up with innovative ideas.”

After winning Branch of the Year at the Voyage Excellence Awards 2019, Georgina is keen to ensure their successful streak continues. “We must keep achieving for the people we support and show the staff that their hard work is recognised. To keep being the best!”

DCA Norfolk joins the other 12 services rated Outstanding or equivalent here at Voyage Care, and it’s our second community service on the list!
