News & events New development update: Markham House bungalows
Earlier this year, we shared that we’re opening four new bungalows at our brain injury rehabilitation service in Chesterfield, Markham house. The countdown is on and as building works progress, we’re delighted to share that we’re expecting the bungalows to open in February 2023*!
At Markham House, we provide support for adults with brain injuries, learning disabilities and associated conditions and these new bungalows offer additional provision for those requiring a transitional pathway back into the community following a brain injury, as well as supporting long-term placements.
The one-bedroom bungalows will offer an open plan kitchen and living area, along with an adaptive bathroom, enabling people to live independently with support available as and when then need it.
