Radoslaw Filipczuk
Hello, my name’s Radoslaw and I am the Physiotherapy Team Manager. My professional qualifications include a MSc in Physiotherapy and a BSc Hons in Pedagogy and Physiotherapy. I am also a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Health and Care Professionals Council and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology.
I specialise in Neurology, and I have experience working with people who have had strokes, mental health problems and learning disabilities. I have also worked with people who are out in the community.
Since I was 18 I have always wanted to work in the healthcare sector, to help those in need. Being able to change people’s lives for the better is the biggest motivator for me. Reassuring them of a pain free life and empowering people with the skills to fulfil their physical and mobility needs are not just my therapeutic goals but rewards I’m bringing home from work.
In my spare time I enjoy playing my electric guitar – loudly! I also enjoy taking part in water sports.
Specialist areas:
- Neuro Physiotherapy
- Complex physical and mental needs such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, scoliosis, ABI, TBI
- Autoimmune and progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s Disease and peripheral neuropathies.
