Do you see me?

From 17 – 23 June, we’re supporting Learning Disability Week, a campaign spearheaded by Mencap, aimed at raising awareness and understanding of learning disabilities, which impact the lives of approximately 1.5 million people in the UK*.

Each year, Learning Disability Week focuses on creating awareness around the issues that people with learning disabilities commonly face.

This year, the theme ‘Do you see me’ discusses the challenges and barriers presented to people with learning disabilities, and how we can work together to support them in feeling heard, seen, and valued.

Throughout the week, you can learn more about common barriers for people with learning disabilities in our insightful videos and blogs, as well as discovering what we’re doing to help the people we support feel heard, seen, and valued, and live fulfilled lives.

We’re dedicated to providing person-centred support for people with learning disabilities across our specialist services in the UK. Our expert teams fully understand the needs of those living with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

Working with individuals to build bespoke person-centred care plans, our teams ensure their needs are met, so they can reach their goals and live as independently as they choose.
