This is the most supportive and caring company I have worked for

Beverley Malpass – Regulatory & Registrations Manager

I have worked for Voyage Care for over 10 years. This is the most supportive and caring company I have worked for. As well as ensuring the people we support receiving excellent care, Voyage Care genuinely care for their staff, achievements and hard work are celebrated and rewarded. Having worked for a number of organisations prior to Voyage Care I find this a rare quality.

The training and development is outstanding and available to all staff who want to learn or progress.

Having worked hard in a number of administration roles for the majority of my work life prior to Voyage Care, I always had the willingness to further my career but never had the confidence or opportunity to progress any further.

I worked at Voyage Care for 6 years in different roles and departments gaining invaluable experience and knowledge about the organisation and completing training courses along the way. I never knew exactly where my passion in the company was, although I was always happy at work.

Four years ago, I moved into a new role within the Quality Team with Voyage Care and have never looked back.

I have been on a journey of major development which has been really challenging as well as exiting. I don’t mind being honest, there were times where I doubted myself and wondered how I got the job I was doing. I used to be terrified of speaking in meetings and delivering presentations which was a part of my new job role.  Don’t get me wrong, I would always do what was required of me but I really didn’t enjoy it one bit.

The support and coaching I received from my manager was incredible as well as from the company. My manager saw the potential in me that I didn’t even know I possessed and has trained, coached, supported me to become the person I am today.

I will be in my current role for 3 years this year and couldn’t be happier. I now present at inductions and monthly meetings with confidence and I am always developing personally within the role.  There is always opportunity to learn new things and overcome challenges and my manager and the company are still so supportive.

Voyage Care does recognise the potential in people, the work they do and are a great company to work for.

I hope I am at Voyage Care for many more years to come.
