At Hunters Lodge we can provide support for ten people with a learning disability, mental health needs, brain injuries or multiple complex needs.
Supporting you
Hunters Lodge has a warm, friendly atmosphere, which is often commented on by visitors and other professionals.
We want each person to feel happy and secure and be able try new things, if they wish.
We adopt a ‘never say never’ attitude which encourages each individual to reach their personal goals, however difficult they may seem.
Facilities
Hunters Lodge is full of character, having been converted from a former Victorian coach house and stable block.
The home has ten ground floor bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities with a bath or shower. There are extensive gardens where we grow organic produce.
The team
The team have a great knowledge and understanding of each person’s needs, as well as empathy and a good sense of humour.
All individuals living at Hunters Lodge are given the opportunity to be involved in staff selection and the interview process.
We hold regular house meetings which enable residents to comment on how the home is run, and individuals know they can speak to the manager if they have any questions or things they would like to raise.
